May 17th marks the release of Black Sand Beach, the new Instrumental project from BROKEN KEYS, a side project from Tommy Sheridan (of Smoke Screen). The 12 track effort touches on Hip Hop, House, and more! Chopped up vocal samples along with spaced out synths and pads combines for a hypnotic listen all the way through. Available for download on May 17th courtesy of Alloy-X!
The single from Black Sand Beach, “Missed The Bus” is available now:
Noah Montgomery Burns Foutty aka NoFee is a 16 year old producer from the greater Cleveland area (specifically Akron). Foutty is the son of notable Ohio DJ/Producer, Jason Burns. He has ties with several other artists in the Cleveland scene including Nathan Sloan, WiseGuy, and Canis Major. His musical endeavors began by doing mashups on his father’s old computer that had a copy of Ableton Live on it, which quickly progressed into making his own beats. But even with this new found interest in production, it wasn’t until he met producer Nathan Sloan that his interest crystallized into the musical drive that he has developed today. He cites Sloan as the “first person who made [him] realize that producing was where [he] belonged.”
NoFee approached us a few months ago about being involved with the Alloy-X crew and with his new single, “DemonLove” we feel that he is ready to make that transition and we can’t wait to see where he takes this momentum in months and years to come.
Cleveland based producer (also 1/2 of rap group Smoke Screen), Broken Keys is here with a new single, “Missed The Bus” from his forthcoming project, Black Sand Beach. The smooth vibes of Missed The Bus will surely prepare you for Black Sand Beach (coming next month).
Fresh off of his latest release, Higher Ground, Hazey Dope delivered a little freestyle to hold you over while he cooks up his next project.
After a few weeks of technical difficulties with computer crashes and corrupt harddrives, Ghost Noises is here to present his latest collection of work, Psychedelics.
This project features 11 tracks (maybe even a special bonus track as well…) with raps and production from Ghost himself along with a small army of Alloy-X affiliates and beyond: C. Roach, Pyrex Press, Urbindex, Broken Keys, and many more.
